Our DNA
Ralph was blessed to grow up under the leadership of his father, Pastor Ralph W. Emerson of The Rising Star Church in Fort Worth, TX. He was blessed to sit under leadership of a man who inherited a church of great history and it grew from 180 to a little over 3,000 people, in attendance, over the last 20 years. Both of Ralph’s parents have been faithful to the call of ministry serving in leadership capacities at his childhood church.
In addition to serving at Rising Star Church, Ralph served at CityGate Church in Burlington, North Carolina as the Executive Pastor for 5 years.
He also served as Lead Pastor of Impact City Church in Odessa, TX for almost 2 years. With a dynamic voice and captivating delivery, he has been able to reach thousands of people with the message of the gospel of the Kingdom. Ralph’s ability to be biblical, practical and cultural and generationally relevant has opened doors for him to speak across different platforms nationally.
He announced his call to preach on July 15, 2001 and began his preaching ministry October 21, 2001 at the Rising Star Church, Fort Worth, TX under the leadership of his Father Pastor Ralph W. Emerson Jr.
Ralph has his BS in Business Administration from Floritda A&M University. He also has his MDin in Theology from George W. Truett Theological Seminary. As of October 2023, Ralph is currently the Senior Pastor of Rising Star Church, Fort Worth, TX.
Ralph has had great exposure and ability to gravitate to great leaders who have influenced his methodology and leadership in ministry.
Ralph’s dream is to see everyone impacted by the transforming power and love of Jesus Christ, that brings hope and life change to a people, a city, and a region across racial, ethnic, and generational lines.
Lady Chanesia serves alongside her husband in worship and support. She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a degree in Business Administration. She is a warm and humble person, passionate about worship, and uplifting of young women to pursue purpose.
Ralph and Chanesia have been married since August 2009 and are the proud parents of two children Orien Christopher and Eden Gabrielle.
